- When can I sign up?
Anytime! Just call 503.292.1255 or email farberswimschool@yahoo.com to set up a time to try out & visit the team. Potential team members can try out the team FREE for a week! - Can you join the team in the middle of the month?
Yes! The monthly fee will be prorated if you join after the beginning of the month.
- How competitive is this team?
The Penguins is a low pressure competitive team. Competitiveness is encouraged but not expected. Meets are available for participants to attend once a month, but they are not required. - How many practices a week are required?
Practices are offered nightly, Monday-Thursday. Parents/guardians choose how many practices a week their child attends. The majority of team members come two nights a week.
- Is attending all swim meets required?
No, participating in swim meets is optional. Although meets are optional, FSSP coaches encourage swimmers to swim in as many of them as possible for the experience. 1-2 meets will be offered a month.
- Are there Friday or weekend practices?
No. At this time, there are only Monday-Thursday evening practices. As the team grows, more practices times may be made available.
- What is the best way to pay the monthly team fee?
We accept checks, exact cash, Visa, Master Card & Discover. We only accept cash and checks on site (the team practices at Allstar Fitness), but if you wanted to pay with a credit card, just call the office at 503.292.1255.
